Two seater oak and ash bench with back

Two seater bench with back handcrafted from sustainably sourced solid British oak and ash timber.

The oak for the seat and crest is sourced from Llandysul, just a few miles from the workshop. The spindles and legs are made from a pale ash timber to provide a subtle contrast to the warm oak tones.

A compact bench, which works effortlessly in almost any home. Its legs are hand‑shaped into an octagonal profile with a gentle taper toward the seat, and the tenons are wedged through the top for strength and character. The back spindles are also shaped by hand from ash. Because each spindle is individually worked with hand tools, they all carry slight variations that make the bench visually appealing and pleasantly tactile.
